What "Zabihah" actually means
Zabihah (or Zabiha) means meat hand-slaughtered to Islamic requirements: a swift cut by a Muslim, God's name invoked, blood fully drained. A stricter standard than loosely-labeled "halal-friendly" meat.
Where our meat comes from
Our chicken and beef both come from Crescent Foods, hand-slaughtered Zabiha halal, certified by Halal Monitoring Services (HMS), a service of the Shari'ah Board of America. Crescent is one of the most widely trusted Zabiha suppliers in the country, and we use it for every protein on the menu — same standard either way. Distributed locally by UISSCO-A.

Our most-asked question. The beef is Zabihah — hand-slaughtered, from Crescent Foods, exactly like our chicken. Crispy Beef uses the same certified meat as everything else. No double standard between proteins.
Yes, the Chinese dishes are halal too
The Chinese side is often assumed to be a gray area. Not here. Crispy Beef, Sesame Chicken, chow mein and fried rice use the same Crescent Foods Zabiha meat as our biryani, karahi and butter chicken. One restaurant, one standard — no separate fryers, woks or prep for "the Chinese stuff."
